1935 BMW 319/1 Roadster

This BMW 319/1 VIN (VIN 55008) was built in the Eisenach plant in 1935 and delivered to the BMW dealer Philipp Kraft in Mainz on May 2nd, 1935, according to the BMW CLASSIC certificate. (Certificate is available). Unfortunately, there are no more documents from the BMW dealer Philipp Kraft in Mainz and there is no information about the original color. However, we know that this vehicle was delivered as a 319/1 Roadster. This vehicle is said to have been sold in the UK in the mid or late 1970s. Unfortunately, there is no solid evidence here. The vehicle is fully restored and all original parts have been overhauled where possible, the trained eye of a collector will of course see some details that need improvement. We have also taken this into account in the price. verifiable history: According to the registration, the vehicle first appeared in the UK on November 2nd, 2006. And in March 2008 it was sold to the USA by the auction house Coys at the Techno Classica in Essen. Presumably a classic car dealer from Danville, California bought the vehicle. Then the vehicle went to the Auto Collection in Las Vegas and was in the museum there. A private collector from California then bought the vehicle in 2010 and has kept it in perfect condition to this day.
